What We Collect
- Story inputs: When you use our story generators, we store non-personal inputs such as selected animals, story settings, and any custom prompt provided.
- Quiz interactions: We log the quiz category selected (e.g., "animals", "numbers") but do not store question-level answers or responses.
- Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized information such as page views, browser type, and session duration. IP addresses are anonymized.
What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect or store the child's name or any personally identifiable information.
- We do not store quiz answers or performance data.
- We do not collect voice recordings or geolocation data.
- We do not sell or share any data with advertisers or third parties.
Why We Store Inputs
We store minimal story and category input data to improve the quality of content, understand usage trends, and ensure a smooth experience across devices. All data is anonymized and used in aggregate.
Third-Party Services
- Google Cloud Text-to-Speech: Used to generate story audio. Your text is sent temporarily to Google's servers for audio synthesis.
- OpenAI API: Used to generate story and quiz content. Prompts are sent to OpenAI for processing; see their privacy policy.
- Google Analytics: Used to track aggregate, anonymous usage statistics. No personal information is collected.
Children’s Privacy
AviStories is intended to be used by parents, guardians, and educators with children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we avoid collecting any personally identifiable information.
Your Rights
You may contact us at any time to request deletion of stored prompts or quiz logs by emailing avibedtimestories@gmail.com.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
